EITI Gabon published its report on the 2023 fiscal year in March 2026. It is written in French and listed by the EITI International Secretariat. It follows the reports on 2021 and 2022 and a thematic report on oil costs for the 2021 fiscal year.
According to the EITI country page, the extractive industries accounted in 2022 for 68.1% of government revenue, 95.3% of exports, 30.3% of GDP and 3.7% of employment. The sector is dominated by oil and manganese.
Gabon, delisted from the EITI in 2013, rejoined on 21 October 2021. Its latest validation, in 2025, gives it a moderate score. The country page notes that contracts are not yet disclosed and that no legal framework requires beneficial ownership disclosure.
