Overview
The Gabon Energy and Water Company (SEEG) provides the public drinking water and electricity service across the country. According to its own presentation, its concession covers water and electricity supply to the country's towns and peri-urban areas. For an investor, SEEG is the contact for connecting an industrial or commercial site to the water and power networks and for supply contracts. It has a network of branches and sales points, including several in Libreville and Owendo, and an online branch. The sector's legal framework is set by law No. 24/2016 of 29 December 2016, which allows the state to delegate this public service.
