According to the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), which organised the event, the Morocco-Gabon economic meeting took place on 22 December 2025 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Casablanca, alongside the Africa Cup of Nations. Held under the theme "Gabon, land of harmony and opportunity", it was part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Gabonese Republic, and aimed to provide a forum for companies from both countries to identify and realise business, investment and cooperation opportunities.
According to Gabonmediatime, Gabon's participation was prepared at a meeting held on 9 December 2025 at the headquarters of the National Investment Promotion Agency (ANPI-Gabon), chaired by Simplice Désiré Mamboula, Minister of Youth, Sports, Cultural Influence and Arts. The meeting was to set the terms of private sector participation and coordinate Gabon's image in Casablanca. The sectors identified covered agro-industry, mining, construction, information and communication technologies and services.
