According to Gabonreview, a call for projects targeting the cassava sector opened on 10 December 2025, initiated by the IBSA Fund (India, Brazil, South Africa) in partnership with the Gabonese government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The call, running until 4 January 2026, targets 130 beneficiaries: 100 pilot producers, 10 interprofessional organisations and 20 agri-entrepreneurs active in services, inputs, transport, processing or distribution.
According to the article, the initiative covers the Estuaire, Haut-Ogooué and Ngounié provinces. Candidates must be Gabonese nationals, hold technical or cooperative accreditation, demonstrate an existing activity, and commit to training and to joining an interprofessional body within a month of being selected.
