According to Gabonreview, the day, scheduled from 8am to 6pm, was expected to bring together business leaders, government members, financial institutions and development partners for an opening plenary session and eight parallel thematic workshops, followed by a closing plenary set to adopt a Libreville Declaration of the Private Sector.

The forum takes place against the financing needs of the National Growth and Development Plan (PNCD) 2026-2030, whose total cost is estimated at 27,000 billion CFA francs, with the state counting on the private sector to mobilise around 18,000 billion of that amount. In exchange for this investment and job-creation effort, the FEG is calling for greater predictability, legal security, transparency and follow-through on state commitments.
