Overview
The trade and personal property credit register (RCCM) is kept by the registry of the court with commercial jurisdiction, under the OHADA (Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa) uniform act on general commercial law. In the company creation circuit run by ANPI-Gabon, the registry issues the RCCM number after the tax office has registered the deeds. Every commercial company, branch or sole proprietorship must be registered to operate legally, and later changes, such as a new manager or a change in capital, are recorded there.
