Export phytosanitary certificate
The Gabonese Food Safety Agency (AGASA), the national authority for plant health risks, inspects plants, plant products, timber and wooden packaging for export and issues the phytosanitary certificate required by importing countries. The plant health police fee scale is set by decree.

Consignment inspection
What to do
Plant health officers inspect the plants, plant products and packaging. They may order quarantine, disinfection, refusal or destruction. A disinfection certificate is issued when a pest treatment is carried out.

What to do
The certificate is issued after payment under the scale of decree no. 000922/PR/MEFBP/MAEDR of 18 October 2005. For processed or semi-processed timber the export rate is 500 FCFA per cubic metre according to the WTO; rates for other products are not published online.
